    Final "fight" this weekend.

    Live on boxnation.

As a boxing fan I've gone from idolising him to despising him and I cant wait till he retires.
I truly hope this is his last fight.

Hes chosen an opponent who'll add to his fake legacy and will add another world champion to his cv. Berto was a very good world champion years ago but the reality is now hes no more than a name to ensure Floyd goes to 49-0 equalling Rocky Marciano's record.

On the undercard Britain's George Groves gets another shot at a world title against Badou Jack for the WBC which I fancy him to with

    Anyone tuning in?

No...As you say, the guy they are putting in with Mayweather is not a worthy opponent.

I'm a boxnation subscriber and like George Groves so will be staying up to watch it. Otherwise Imay have just recorded it and watched it Sunday morning before setting off for match.

It should be a celebration of a remarkable talent going out on top and undefeated instead its just left a bitter taste and increased bad feeling toward Floyd and added weight to the argument that he's carefully cherry picked his opponents for years..

Berto is around 34/1 under dog . Worth a silly bet.

I'll be watching in the faint hope that Mayweather gets knocked out and that even quite sad I know.

What do you reckon to Boxnation mate? Hearn says there's no audience for a subscription boxing channel, I tend to agree.

Couldn't care less about what happens in Floyd's last fight, he'll win, no doubt. He certainly did take the fun out of boxing over these past few years, his fights just seem to be a formality for him. I wonder if he'll come out of retirement again in a year or two for more money, not that he needs it.

I have loads of respect for Mayweather and his abilities and achievements in boxing. However, I just believe that this fight is a total stitch up to ensure he goes out with a victory so not worth watching in my opinion..

I think its worth it tbh. If you don't have it then your missing out on a massive % of world boxing.

Hearn has his mismatch circus monopolized in sky but a lot of top fights aaround the world are shown on boxnation.

Golovkin v Lemieux coming up for example.

Yeah, I've watched a few fights on it, not at home, my mate's dad owns the channel actually.

All this fight picking has sucked the enjoyment out of boxing for me. Not really bothered for years. I think the governing body should be picking your opponent.

I completely agree. Floyd is a law unto himself and the governing bodies are happy to let him get away with it. I dont even mind having 4 world titles but some organizations like the wba have 'super' 'regular' and 'interim' champions.

Floyd for example holds the wbc and wba light middleweight titles but has never legitmately defended them, instead defending the same 2 belts he holds at welterweight. Anyone else would have been stripped of the l.middle titles

As a champion you should fight your mandatory/number1 contender wherever possible.

Yeah stagnant titles which aren't being defended pisses me off. They should have to defend it within timescale and if they drop or go up a weight class they should forfeit all titles at the previous weight.

You can't take somebody seriously when they ask Justin Beiber to carry in all of their belts to the ring.

I wonder if Khan would have given him a good few rounds, he never liked speed Floyd, but it depends if Khan would have stayed on his feet long enough to land a few. We'll never know now, we'll just have to be satisfied with Manny knocking 10 shades of **** out of him instead.

    Me?

I always respected Mayweather's record, you can't argue about that. He never said he was here to entertain, he got the job done, just like Mourinho does in them big title deciders.

He's just not great to watch, Joshua's my favourite at the minute, he's got a nasty streak and he's way above the level he's been pitched at right now, so his fights are just pure merciless beatings.

You can't deny his record and that he has got the decisions over other boxers.

In my opinion he lost against Luis Castillo and Oscar De La Hoya.. And he is deffo a 'protected species' over in Vegas. I love boxing and have been to a few 'great' bouts live (Eubanks vs Benn rematch @ Old Trafford being my favourite even tho Nigel Benn was robbed) but I honestly wouldn't cross the road to watch Mayweather. He'd be more at home on Strictly Come Dancing !!

But like I said... His record is there for all to see!

Not celery's biggest fan, it's got nowt going for it, boring.

Reminds me of this fit yank I used to work with on night shifts in the forces, she used to eat it all the time with peanut butter. She was filth, used to come to work and tell us about all her toys and that and how she always walks about naked with the curtains open cos she loved the thought of being spied on, slag.

Benn took every tough fight available unlike Eubank... I think Benns downfall was that he went to the States to learn how to 'box' instead of continuing to be the Dark Destroyer!

Think Collins fought them both at the right time.
