Signed on free Lovenkrands style from nobody He looks ****ing class Sorry only bid I could find short but of training ground footage... Obvs it doesn't show the times he gave the ball away or missed, but apparently he's a bad boy with an attitude so he had no club..
Ummm.... Really not conclusive, apart from the overhead kick there nothing stands out. Never heard of him before, so he hardly seems like a hot property.
I think I understand what Mikey likes about him: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/i-play-free-says-newcastle-19151788 'I will play for free' says Newcastle United's new signing in emotional interview
Yeah, but to be fair I think even I could make myself look better than Carroll and Joelinton in a 30-second highlights clip.
Sounds like the club are taking a small risk on someone whose potential was hit by injury and then disappeared from professional football - on the off-chance that he 'might' come good. As Ben 10 mentioned, he can only play in the U23s this season, so I guess he must be happy to just be playing football again at any level. NUFC.COM: Incoming:Going with the Flo please log in to view this image A low-key announcement by Newcastle on Thursday confirmed that Florent Indalecio had signed a contract at the club for the remainder of this season. The 23 year-old French midfielder/striker was a free agent and arrived on Tyneside back in August, debuting in an U23 friendly against Hartlepool United. Indalecio played for St. Etienne as a youngster before his release in 2011 - where his team mates included Allan Saint-Maximin (who was an interested onlooker at that Hartlepool game). Diagnosed with a cancerous tumour on his knee, Flo made a failed attempt to restart his career in the USA during 2016 after playing amateur football in France. Pre-lockdown he'd been working on building sites in Australia and turning out for a local side in Sydney. Although his omission from the club's 25 man PL squad means that he's unable to play competitively for the first team at present, Flo can appear as an over-age player for United's U23 side. A debut could come in Friday's Premier League 2 visit to West Bromwich Albion, the Magpies short of firepower after loaning out Elias Sorensen and Tom Allan. Indalecio is the fourth addition to the U23 squad this season, following midfielder Niall Brookwell, forward Rodrigo Vilca and defender Bradley Cross.
I remember Albert Luque looking amazing in a YouTube highlights reel. I'm always sceptical of highlights vids, especially training ground ones like this.
I know that's why I said it doesn't show the times he ****ed up in the op. I'm not suggesting he's Pele, but he's done more in those 30 seconds than I've seen Caroll or Joelinton do in over a year. He's probably ****, but most out side is and there's a few that shouldn't be anywhere near premier league football. I dread to see the team sheet on Sunday mate it's going to be the same ****
He has a mountain to prove obviously, but sometimes these things work out. I take his whole "I'm a new man, I regret my behaviour" etc etc with a pinch of salt. People have the capacity to change, but more often than not they do not. That's just the reality of life. We've seen this with a few of his countrymen. Its certainly not the case where we have the luxury to carry passengers or trouble makers. Conversely though we lack quality so we have to take more of a punt at times. Ashley loves this kind of caper too. Fingers crossed and he'll have my full support but my expectations are low.
I just dunno where all the hype for this guy is coming from, I've never heard of him and he doesn't even have a Wikipedia page! I remember when we signed Ben Arfa, he was know as a talented guy with a bad side, but people already knew about Ben Arfa. ... The guy I'm the video talks about Indelcelio in the same way, but there seems much less evidence to back it up. All we really know is he's ASM's mate. I didn't realise Darlow may be ****ed for Sunday, there goes our only player who gives a **** then.
