They have now 'Parted Company' with Alex McLeish. Time to re-open the foreign owners have no clue about running a football club debate me thinks....
Not all foreign owners are clueless and Peter Ridsdale is English yet had a bad reputation wherever he went... ...Will admit that it's a worrying sight for English football - clearly the 'fit and proper' persons test is largely useless, though I'd imagine making it more stringent could run into legal difficulties. There should be growing calls to implement policies similar to Germany's Bundesliga that requires a supporters presense on the board amongst other things. ...Still, hopefully Forest will be in a state of dissaray and provide us with a good chance of 3 points on Saturday.
Forest fans still gutted SOD left, what a joke of a club they are. Our gain as far as i am concerned. Crazy getting rid of SOD.
You never can tell with a manager less club - could go one way or the other. A Forest fan mate of mine recons they will either get PDC or Adkins.
They got rid of a good man - their loss is our gain Who would want to work for Forest now (apart from Sven)??? Before the sacking I posted a question on their board (last night) about Adkins - got no reply
Speaking to a Forest fan today, he seems to think it might have something with the George Boyd situation and that McLeish walked not got sacked. But it's a weird year when you have three clubs in this division going to be on their third manager in a season Blackburn Blackpool Florist and that's not counting caretaker's
Nigel, Adkins is the obvious candidate but i do not think he would fancy it after the shannigans going on there. I believe he is very good friends with SOD as well.
Put them to the back of your mind Shiny. Yes Forest may be tempted to try if they get pressure from their fans, but do we really think that Sean O'Driscoll would even give any consideration to a return to a club that ruined his Christmas just seven weeks ago.
'I think it's good news for us for this coming weekend' - I don't. Looks like Forest will appoint Billy Davies before the w/e. Just our luck.
Rather depnds on hom thy appont and when the appointment starts at present the club is in limbop lets hope it is still that way when we play them as the crowd might just be too busy giving stick to the board to get behind their team from the start ands if we start well will silence the fans.
If they do, he won't even last as long as McLeish. The bloke is too stupid to keep his gob shut (which is why he's been out of work for nearly 2 years), he will tell the owners what he thinks of them and will be out very shortly afterwards...
