Floodlight failures

I've been noting a few of these recently, today Norwich v Derby, along with at least another in the last few weeks that I can't remember off the top of my head at the moment.

I know a decade or two back, floodlight failures were linked to Asian market betting scams, so i tried to refresh my memory by looking for past stories...

One of our rugby teams floodlights fell onto the pitch about a month ago. The full site is still closed, apparently remaining lights failed safety tests

 

You can't blame that on Far Eastern betting syndicates
