Not too far away from HQ in Park Royal, lots of flooded roads. With under bridges closed. Also flooded at Brent X. Took me nearly two hours to get home.

Rain was so hard wipers couldn't keep up, huge puddles on the verges of the dual carriageway
Saw that. We had floods everywhere down here around Poole and Bournemouth too. Moms complaining about 3hr school runs and some not getting to work. Forecast for the rest of the week … lovely sunny days
You know, for the 6th richest country in the world, our roads are embarrassingly bad compared to other countries. A sign of corruption? In any case, yesterday's flooding shows how badly they're maintained, including their water management.
When County councillors are able to claim vast amounts in expenses (my local Tory Counciller claimed in excess of £40k in one year and the leader of the council, another Tory, claimed over £60k) is there any wonder there is no money to fix the roads and pavements. If does give me pleasure though to call out said councillors in various Facebook pages…I think they are sick of me now
