How can people actually take this stuff seriously?

The pundits are told what to say and if you didn't realise that you probably didn't know that they rehearse what they are going to say.

Who gives a shiite what MOTD pundits think?

The Newcastle United Head Coach certainly should not be fielding questions on it.

    Pathetic.

Carver really is stupid. He should never have commented either voluntarily or if asked. The pundits have to come up with a few soundbites or phrases to sum up situations. To be honest I think Carver's stupidity may be the thing that saves us having to endure him long term. I think the board want someone they can trust not to **** up the game plan. I think very little thought passes through Carvers brain before he opens his trap. That will be seen as a loose cannon by our board. I still think it will be a bottom feeder though. I'm told David O'Leary was present yesterday, I hope that was the Arsenal connection...

His comments after the match really weren't thought through.

Saying look how we played today (yesterday) showed we didn't have flip flops on last week couldn't have been further from the truth. For me the performance in the second half of yesterdays game showed that some players did have their flip flops on last week.

I would, however, avoid naming Gouffran, Ameobi and Sissoko as particular culprits to save them from embarrassment. Assuming that they can be embarrassed.
