Needs to learn a thing or two about motivation if he is to succeed as manager. The side that came out in the 2nd half were not the same side that started the match. Accrington on the other hand came out of half time with a purpose. After they went on the attack you just knew that goal was coming and again you just knew they were going to equalise - I could see it as I'm sure others could. I wish I knew what the answer was but I don't but it's going to be very difficult to turn this around now, given that the players themselves don't seem to believe. Can't blame the fans this week, they turned out in numbers after Fletcher's rally call, continuing to pile in long after k/o - vocal too. I Couldn't help but notice the shop was packed today and still contributions were being made to the staff fund. We can do no more now it's up to Fletcher to prove he is up to the job.
I have just had a rant on the other Fletcher thread reagarding exactly this issue. Simple truth is that Fletcher has no idea about tactics. He should have put at least one more forward on or even better another winger to stretch them. We in the end did absolutely nothing and were lucky to survive with a point in the end against 10 men. I don't think Fletcher is going to be Manager long. I don't dislike the bloke and I don't wish him ill and neither am I calling for his head right now. It is for the football people to make that judgement but I fear he will not succeed unless he wises up and quickly.
