Last night he came on for Scotland and looked a class apart. Why is it he is not doing it for us ? Fitness or attitude or system.

He looked very sharp last night and his touch was brilliant. If we create enough for Fletch he will score, but the reality is he doesn't offer us as much as Wickham does in the lone forward role.

It matters not to me, not seen him do anything since a header against the mags nearly a year ago. It's what he does in a red and white shirt which matters to me. He'd be benched for Wickham if I had my way, for his lazy attitude.

This is how I feel about him too, but he looked good last night, all we can hope really is that we get our money back when we sell him, as I dont think he fits our style of play at all. The young kid Anya took his goal well and gave the defenders some problems with his pace, could be a one to watch in my opinion.

Good to hear he's looking sharper.

Just think if all 3 strikers found some real form... <yikes> Scary thought.

I'd like him to start looking a threat at the bare minimum, he's giving the defenders an easy ride. More effort for me, not goals, all I can ask is 100% in the shirt.

I'd rather play his cousin Darren upfront, even when he does have the trots.

Lets hope that it kick starts him into playing well for us, I would start the next game like this given the chance.

    Mannone
    Vergini JOS Brown PVA
    Catts Rodwell
    Buckley Alvarez Giacc
    Wickham

But I expect AJ and Larsson will get starts. For me Giacc must be in the team he is our most creative player. It would be like Arsenal leaving out Cazorla.
