Top Story Fletcher tipped for Sunderland switch 02:30 PM 28 June, 2012 Steven Fletcher is expected to finalise his move to Sunderland shortly. The Scotland international is one of several players set to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer, following their relegation from the Premier League. Fletcher is eager to still be involved in the top-flight next term, and he has already been linked with several clubs since the end of last season. Sunderland, though, appear to be favourites to land the 25-year-old forward, with Martin OâNeill poised to add him to his squad for a fee of around £5million. finally a bit of good news, gerrin Martin dip yer bread in
He's a great threat in the right team, him knocking down for Sess, Larsson on the wing crossing in for Fletcher. I think that could potentially be a deadly combination. Larsson IMO isn't an amazing all round player, but he is one of the best in the world at set pieces and is a fantastic crosser of the ball. Dare I say again, that Andy Carroll would be the perfect man for Sunderland, but unfortunately, he'll never agree to go there.

Don't give a toss how much he costs, it's not my money.....He's a decent player and that's what matters.
Well said Commachio, If we have to pay 20M for him, then so be it. To me he is a top striker, compare him with that twat Gyan and look at the qualities of both. Fletcher is a MUST buy, anyone that disagrees, either has no knowledge of football or is just an ignorant fool. What other top strikers will play for us?
