I am being sent insane with Carl Fletcher speak.

    Such as..........

1).....We must take the positives out of a game.

    2).....I want a tighter defence.

3).....need to keep it tight at the back and keep clean sheets.

Total meaningless waffle what the hell does it all mean???

No talk of..... yellow/red cards........a real issue which the league could sting us for one day.

I would have thought 2 and 3 spoke for themselves plymborn. As for No.1 suggest that means keep your head up. You missed out "worked their socks off".

When we first got married we were the owners of a twin tub washing machine.

You had to stand by the damn thing all the time.........transferring hot washing from the washing tub to the spinning tub with wooden tongs...........trying not to spill hot water all over the place.

We used to think the stupid thing was progress...........the problem was the contraption never broke down and went on for years..........the nameplates for the controls lost any sign of writing and you just had to try and remember the settings by memory.

The biggest problem was that you couldn't get rid of the smell of nappies that always wafted up once the water became hot.........and the fiddly hose connection to the sink tap......more water all over the place.

sensible you are right.........I thought of it later.........."working their socks off"............ another stupid saying especially if you lose yet again.......what good is that if you fail.

Please control yourselves...........just think of my twin tub..........or of England..........anyrate a chain and padlock could go rusty this time of year in the shed.........just when you'd need it on a boring wet ,dark winters evening, and you would have to go back to talking to each other.

Warnock was seen in Cornwall yesterday according to Twitter, don't suppose that's significant as he might well take a break at his second home after what's happened.

Easy to scoff but a better organised defence, including better cover from the midfield & forward players would automatically reduce the disciplinary problems by reducing the need for desperation tackles. It's no coincidence is it that the worst disciplinary records are held by teams in the lower reaches of the table? They aren't necessarily dirty by nature but they are desperate and by definition, not very good.

Heard Fletch this morning "we know what we have to do","we are looking forward to it".Well he may be looking forward to it all, but going up to Home Park and witnessing almost continual disappointment is wearing somewhat thin!

"getting it right" might be novel as well. I agree it is a tough place to support aka. I always start out with enthusiasm but normally by 3. 45pm it has waned somewhat.

Think I've just figured it out,I come down on the train from Newton, meet a mate or two,get something to eat, have a couple of beers-generally have an ok time, and then it all seems to change for the worse from 3pm onwards.

I wonder how "Fletcher Speak"............will assess the 6-1 thrashing the reserves received from Exeter this afternoon.............It will probably say that from 1-0 up the lads stopped working their little "socks off"........... and stopped "keeping it tight at the back".............and lost focus and didn't keep the all important "clean sheet".

They weren't wearing socks plymborn. To be honest I don't care much what the reserves do as it is full of kids. I know it is because we played most of them earlier on in the season.

Is it just me ?.............or is "Fletcher Speak" a dangerous infection............Should it have a "Government Health Warning".............having listened to his post match interview with sparksy.........I felt my eyes becoming heavy and my head stopping to drop............expecting to be jolted awake with a .............."they worked their socks off" comment, but no we didn't get that one today.

We did get, plenty of "ya know's"..........and "lots of positives from the game".............and "overall".........."staying in the game"..........."doing ugly stuff right"........."putting bodies on the line and "like I said"...........

If it depended on managers............going mouth to mouth in combat........Carl would win everytime.
