    Hi lads,

Sorry to come onto your board with this, but it seems you are the only active board on the Scottish pages!

Anyway, what's your feeling about Levein & his standpoint with Fletch?

Strikes me you have a tidy midfield and the best side for a few years, and from the group your in, with Fletch, you'd have a great shot at qualifying.

Do you think Fletch refusing to play after being overlooked for 4-6-0 was grounds to bin him, or would you welcome him back?

Cheers, and if you don't give 2 ****es, I won't be offended!

    All the best.

Levein is a dick, end of story mate.

Seriously though, Levein has a history of being stubborn. He took the SFA (His current bosses) to court when he was Hearts manager.

I can't see Fletcher playing for Scotland as long as he's in charge. Sadly the list of candidates to take over from Levein is pish poor.

Levein needs to be the bigger man and invite him back the play for Scotland ...

Scotland dont have many talented Strikers yet he persists with Kenny Miller

Any striker would be raging at being left out in a game - even more so when the team you didn't play in never had a recognised Striker on ...

I'd have him back as I think he'd score goals...

He'll get his chance again - soon as Levein is sacked after Wales hump us 3-0!

An SAFC fan asked Fletch on Twitter if he'd wanna play next month, Fletch, one word answer 'yes'.

I watched you against Serbia, and thought the midfield was tidy as ****, but they had no forward ball as Miller tends to run late, rather than constantly move.

Snodgrass & Morrison are genuinely talented creative lads, but wasted if there's nobody to look for.

Would be a great waste to not qualify, only Croatia are definitely 'man for man' better, and even they will struggle at Hampden.

I've lost all faith in Levein. He has only beaten Lichtenstein and Lithuania in competitive games and it was a 97th minute winner in one of the games against Lichtenstein.

There is definitely a core of good players at his disposal and being fair Darren Fletcher is sorely missed in the middle of the park.

Scotland need to take at least 4 points in the games against Belgium and Wales. I personally can't see it happening.

****ing hell, I forgot about Belgium.

You really do need results against Croatia, Belgium are going to be a real threat for the next 10 years!

Your gonna need 4 points of Croatia then, realistically.

The goal Fletcher scored at the weekend for Sunderland shows exactly why he's the type of penalty box striker we need.

I'm climbing down from my "Sack Levein Now" horse for a wee bit - at least until the Wales game.

If we get beat off Wales (which seems the most likely result at the minute), Levein won't have a single pub in Scotland that would serve him.

I don't think Fletcher is entirely innocent in all of this - he essentially did the thing that I had a go at Robertson and a few people all called Ferguson did - voluntarily not playing for your country.

As Strachan said at the weekend - you don't sing the Craig Levein national anthem and you're not playing for Craig Levein, you're playing for your country and maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned about this but I still think that everyone who gets the honour to represent their nation at its national sport should see it as a privelige.

I think, if an England manager told Rooney he wasn't playing cos he went in a huff (for example), that the English press would let it lie - said manager would be hounded out.

I want the two of them to felch, make up and appear on TV holding hands before Fletcher scores in both Croatia games.

I fear, though, that I'll be watching Levein trotting out excuses in his ridiculous reactalens goggles while Fletcher watches the Scotland games in his living room.

For clarity, is the felching to be televised?

I'm not sure that BBC Scotland are quite that liberal.

    Yes.

It's essential that the nation gets to see Levein tonguing his own wrigglers out of Fletcher's manglove.

Levein is a waste of space and even a blind (less petulant) manager can see that Fletcher should be in the team ahead of just about every other striker we have - bar Miller - who should not even be in the squad.

Hopefully Levein will get the sack pretty soon and then we can get Fletcher in the team and concentrate of qualifying for the EC because it is clear as crystal that we have zero chance of making the World Cup with Levein at the helm.

Whatever the question is I don't think Fletcher is the answer. Any player who takes the huff and makes himself unavailable to play
for his National side should never get another chance. To play for your Country should be the greatest wish of any player and
Fletcher has blown it. Scotland have many other strikers, the slim grease lightning fellow that used to score nearly every week for
Rangers but his love of Celtic mean't he never scored against us. I think heis in the USA or Canada now. What about Russell some
people said we should have bought him. I think we shouldn't but sure he would do Scotland.

I wouldn't push the button on the remote to watch Scotland play another game with that tosser in charge. Even the players he does put in he uses poorly.

He wound it up by saying that Celtic will be collecting for the kid with cancer at the weekend. A lot more Celtic relevent than the Gers threads that make up most of the Celtic forum.

I'd move them if I could... or delete them (boring ****e).

Didnt think it was really relevant - only (small) connection is Celtic doing a collection. Celtic colect for loads of things!

Left a redirect tho - so it can stil be read from the Celtic.
