Gotta say mate people were justified in their opinions, he was ****ing apalling, got dropped, and came back hungry.

Prior to today he'd been a total waste of space.

Delighted he's back in the goals could be like a new signing if he gets back sharp.

If he can stay fit.

Know what you mean Comm, on what I have seen of all our 4 centre forwards no one has performed at Fletcher's levels when he is fit and getting fed.
Hope it's a new dawn for him with Conner and Jozy biting his arse ……..bit like Mimmi and KIKI biting you the need ! Enjoy <cheers>

Both front men performed well today in their differing roles and thank god Fletcher positioned himself for his second goal after Rodwell's air shot.

Fletcher has been **** for months, no hunger and looked like he wanted away. Today he had a good game, looked up for it and worked hard. Let's see if he can keep it up, if he does then you can start blowing your own horn :)

I'd still prefer to see Wickham by himself in center, with a proper left winger on the pitch mind you. Our overall team performance was better against Swansea imo.

Did well today, it's about time. Aided by a bit of good old fashioned service that suits him. Excellent game for the lad.

My support and admiration for Fletcher is well documented but the one we saw yesterday, not the shadow of a player we've seen for all of 2014.

On his day this lad is one of the best in the league in front of goal. We just need to see more of the new one and less if the old one going forward. If he gets 15+ goals this season individually, we will be comfortably top half as a team.

Not only did HE have a good game individually, he also brought Wickham into play more than we've seen all season, could be the start of a fruitful partnership?

Seconded, our best pair without doubt. Jozy and Danny cover at best.

He looked confidant from the off. Nice flicks and footwork and that confidence led him to wanting the ball more which led to our first goal. Think having Wickham on the pitch takes some of the heat off Fletcher being a target man and out ball. With Giaccherini and Alvarez injured I think we'll see Wickham operate from the left for a few more games now.
