So Big Nige was the man to bring success....well, so far, mid table, couple of wins, usual retortic from the gaffer and what appears to be discord in the camp. Players wanting away, players not wanting to join........is it all going wrong, is he on his way or is it just to early to say how your previous ex manager will perform? Funnily enough created similar discord at Hull, same retoric but we trusted him...were we all being fooled?
Its a status report from a fans perspective.....after your heavy defeat to Burton there was real disharmony with him...... a few games on, whats the current feeling?
Your not even a fan of this board so why would you want any perspective on a Manager of a team you don't support...just saying
Can only give you my personal perspective ... we are playing far better football than last season .... but without a cutting edge .. . Wolves were wobbling for the last 60 minutes and we looked fluid and full of purpose .. but again suffered for some defensive naiivete ... and some very poor maring by Knonchesky ...ye it was a terrific strike but I'd rather he was a better defender As for Nigel - despite what i've said above, our owners are very ambitious and whilst the rumours that they have been sounding Harry Redknapp may be nothing more than maliciuos rumour mongering,...nothing would surpise me .. after all they were prepared to both hire and fir Sven .... I think Nige will get 10 League games to prove himself either way....
I think thats a fair summary, cannot see Harry moving from the south coast but certainly the owners appear ruthless in their determination to gain success and have the cash to support it.
Are you worried that if Nigel gets sacked we come in for your manager? After all he doesn't show much loyalty Mr Bruce does he!
If Adkins gets sacked I would love him to come here. His positivity would be perfect for us. (thats not me saying Nige is negative, clearly he isn't, I just admire Adkins' philosophy)
. Some of the best football ive seen us play this season for a long time, and that is even includes when Pearson was here before, just need to start scoring goals. We have got some hard games out of the way, 2 relegated teams looking for a straight bounce back and a team on good form from storming league 1. The teams that were here last year, we have beaten, so i have full confidence that we will make an impact this season, keep the faith, keep Nigel
20 shots on goal doesnt equal pionts as our ratio of goals per shot is awful we need at least 60 shots on goal in the second half as we gift two goal leads to the home team.
Bolton - 12 shot, 6 on target, 3 goals. Millwall - 26 shots, 17 on target, 4 goals. We no longer seem to be having trouble in the shooting department and you don't actually get any points for shooting anyway.
