Last night in the match between romania and poland a flare was thrown onto the pitch at a corber and it didnt go off but instead exploded with six feet of robert llewandowski It seems he was only deafened and dazed by it. Very very lucky. He came back on after lengthy treatement and scored two goals. I would like to point out that this will bring serious sanctions on romania. probably a stadium ban until neeting or whatever is put in. I constantly hear its only fun and red flares add to our games but the danger is just too much. Id expect the uefa sanctions to increase over this.
It is bang out of order. the people who let these things off wouldn't expect people to go into their place of work and risk serious injury to themselves or others and have to take time off work as a result would they. Needs proper stamping down on. but sadly like most things now days it's politics and money that is the big factor.
