Great debut, dealt with everything thrown at him but as the commentator mentioned, he might have had a bit of trouble if they had started Silva or Adam Johnson on his side. As it played out, he never really looked troubled. Was also very handy to have someone like Carragher beside him. Don't really like judging a player on 1 game but it will be a harder test on Sunday if he starts against someone like Nasri. Great team effort all around!
From what I heard on the radio, he had a solid debut. Wasn't massively troubled but dealt with everything that was thrown at him. Overall, a good debut. Let's hope he can keep the good performances coming.
Great debut by the young lad,he played a cross field pass at one stage that was majestic.His first touch was excellent as Reina played balls out to him,he passed the ball without having to steady himself. Even though he didn't score,some of the stuff El Pistolero did was majestic,sublime and wonderful.Dirk Kuyt scored a goal that if it were Rooney scored it,we would never hear the end of it.Brilliant stuff from the blonde bulldozer.
