Comments like that are all the more reason. I'm surprised it didn't say but it was Hull Pride today hence the flags

I go to football to watch football not to have stuff rammed down my throat or stuffed in my face. I also happen to believe that this stuff, same with such as BLM, kick it out, etc only serves to highlight differences and even divide. It also fuels or kowtows to certain people or groups with their often divisive personal agendas.Stop with the stupid slogans and symbols, just get on with being inclusive etc. .

I take it you have a problem with honouring Remembrance Day at football matches too, as that has nothing to do with football either?

I'm no bigot. Far from if you knew me. To me it shows who the duped are.

A picture of a Pride flag on Instagram on the day Pride in Hull is being held is it being shoved down your throat?

Just ignore it mate. It’s not designed to help you. It helps me. It makes me feel included and so that when I take my husband to the game I might actually feel comfortable to show affection towards him like I see so many straight couples do.

If you think the Pride movement hasn’t helped progress society to be more inclusive then you haven’t been paying attention.

Nope, I don't think pride has progressed society, neither do many, many gay, lesbian, .......people.
That's my view for reasons explained that have literally nothing to do with bigotry, in fact for the dead opposite. At least I have the balls to be.honest.
    End of from me.

I read it fine. You said you go to football to watch football and not have things rammed down your throat so I assume you’re not a fan of non-football related things like Remembrance Day or even the silence held for the Queen’s passing at the MKM last season?

Still don’t quite understand why you can’t just ignore it though and go ‘hey, if it helps some people that’s good’.

Respectfully I would take the opinion of someone who is LGBTQ+ on whether pride has made progressions to them over someone who isn't in that category but that just me being honest

As someone who went to the game today, the post here about the pride flag was the first thing that notified me it was even there as I personally pay very little attention to the corner flag and neither does it upset me being different for once.

Would hardly say it’s being rammed down any throats. I’m more surprised the club only made one post about it.
