The Football League ‏@football_league Football League statement re Portsmouth: 1/3 As stated after its most recent meeting... 2/3 The Board of The Football League is not considering alternative applications for the transfer of Portsmouth's share in The FL The Football League ‏@football_league 3/3 Instead, it remains focussed on a successful transfer of share to the preferred bidder, the Pompey Supporters Trust 15% of a Chanrai controlled club in which he owns the ground. **** right of you puppet. Nice one FL.
For Chanrai it was a PR disaster - even united the commenters on the snooze site, practically unheard of before.
Maybe he was hoping the Trust would up their bid for FP again. After all, he made a quarter million last time with little or no effort.
Dear o Dear instead of telling Harris to "do one" perhaps you should be concerned about some of the trust. Death threats, homophobic abuse, threatening sponsors, what on earth is going on? http://www.twitlonger.com/show/l3dsqn
Passions one thing, but going around telling people "I'll be your boss soon " and threats against other supporters is really not on. Someone should get a grip otherwise any goodwill will start being lost
Allegedly! Unfortunately there is a power vacuum at the club - it has for far too long been in administration so I'd imagine there are a number of individuals (unknown number-might be 1 or 2 or could be 100s) who, may be, behaving badly. But every club has individuals like that. There has certainly been some spitting competitions going on over twitter. Once the ownership is sorted out and the board, CEO etc are in place I believe any behaviour like that will be stamped on very firmly.
Ooh... I think the Chan man has run out of road now - far too many people have seen through his latest ploy, ie. state in court that he has another higher offer for the ground. Tomorrow's hearing is only to set a date for a 2 day hearing. My bet is that it will go ahead
Well the guys getting a lot of support on twitter. He's also getting plenty of abuse which suggests some truth in what he wrote. It seems some of your support font understand the concept that you can support the club, but not want the PST. A lot of peoples line is that back the trust otherwise you must be a scummer. Reflects quite badly on the fans. the bloke is on talksport tomorrow, so we'll all hear his side .
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but when their opinions is proven to be mis informed bulls **** attempting to discredit the trust whlist sitting on BC's hand, why shouldn;t we voice our opinions to them? It's a two way thing. People don't have to support the trust. Every club has fans who don't give a **** about who owns it. That is his mistake, he thinks those people support him. They don't cos they supprot nothing. Jm is one of those wierd people who grew up in the prem era and has been completely premoriesed. he still thinkls a sugar daddy with no intention of helping the club is a good idea FFS. I've seen that so story of a resignation letter he posted and I've never seen such self ritous bollocks in one post. He claims to have the backing of the majority or "real" pompey fans yet including sundicates, well over 10000 have contributed and already fulfilled pledges. The only people he has the following of is the 10 or so sock puppets who still think BC is a good idea and has done nothing wrong. They won't listen to facts and cry when some get a little hard with them. He has made some very serious allegation on the letter. I can't imagine the PST will go to legal length, even though all of them are untrue, but he will be very under fire, seeing as the only people to make those allegations are him, all of which with zero proof. He has also insulted a multitude of Pompey fans in the process, and yet he wonders why he is unpopular with some. It is about ****ing time he resigned, although I think he was shown the door somewhat for being so out of touch with a community radio. him and MArk mudie have done nothing but hinder the PST bid. A community bid. Neither of them are por and yet have net pledged or even gave a fiver to a syndicate. That is their choice of course but for such die hard, life long Pompey afns, you think they would. they have their own personal agenda, JM especially. Clearly exemplified we he talks about the "real" Pompey fans, and how they will claim the club back from the "thugs" of the PST. Good riddance you ****in sock puppet.
Ducky - I was referring to Chanrai. Are you talking about Joe Michalczuk? To be honest I really don't know all of what it's about, and because I'm not in the area I don't get to hear him on radio - but from what I understand from the things that he's tweeted, and seeing arguments in full swing, is that he is firmly of the opinion that 1) the fans should have welcomed back Chanrai, 2) Chanrai would have invested in the club as he has the money to do that, 3) that Chanrai, or any owner with money, will invest to take the club back "where it belongs" (you know where that is) and that 4) the PST will never have enough money so the club will languish in the football league, and will never get back to the Prem, which is what every fan wants (in his opinion). He is very anti the fans/PST ownership and blames the PST for getting rid of Chanrai. He talks/tweets about representing the "silent majority". He is getting abuse but from what I can see, this isn't a one-way street. He's on R Solent between 8 and 8.30 tomorrow so I'm going to listen in to that as well. Do you know what time he's on Talksport?
Hermie - what is the problem with Mark Mudie? Every time I've heard him he has always backed the PST, is a member and has pledged. That was confirmed by Colin Farmery a few weeks ago. Oh JM just tweeted that as he's had more threats he isn't going to do any interviews. This is all ridiculous. Get a sense of humour everyone.
Of the times I had tuned in to EFM, I've heard MM sucking up to Portpin. From what i've heard he hasn't done everything he could have or should have to help get the ST bid to the wider community. However this is just what I've heard. He seems to have changed his mind now that it really is Trust or Bust. I will retract my statements about him not pledging though if CF has confirmed it, although I am still on the fence with him.
Here you go Hermie, just for you. It's pretty good actually. http://neilmonnery.co.uk/2013/02/19...m-blames-great-unwashed-portsmouth-thugs-wow/
