I think the way it works, at least it was when I finished uni, is that you avoid boredom by getting a job! :emoticon-0105-wink::emoticon-0130-devil:emoticon-0109-kiss:

Theres really not long between the season finishing and starting this year. Our season finished 2 weeks ago and the players return for pre season in around 3 weeks time

In between we have the Euro qualifiers and the Under 21's Euro's. Also FIFA have decided to keep everyone talking about football one way or another

And in the cricket Leicestershire have finally remembered which side of the bat to hold and we have finally won a 4 day game and beat Notts in the 2020's at Trent bridge

The Ashes start in a few weeks aswell. Plenty to keep us entertained over the short space of time

Yeah, but - cricket?! Couldn't you have said something more exciting, like lawn green bowls or tiddlywinks?!

I've thought about watching that there woman's world cup, but the late matches mean I won't see much anyway. England's first match is on at a reasonable time though.

Interested that there are two World Cups on that are achieving 0 interest. Women's in Canada and the under 20's here in NZ. The under 20 is the second biggest tournament in football yet even the BBC are ignoring it. Why do England not have an under 20 side anyone know? Went and watched Portugal vs Columbia and these kids are amazingly good.

Im watching the Womens World Cup on BBC 3, Last night was entertaining, 10-0 to Germany <ok>

Im not sure why they seem to be ignoring the U21's though, maybe its down to match timings over here, it may not be viable to pay for coverage if they don't think they are going to get the viewers for it... plus England aren't involved.

I've just bought Football Manager 2015 to alleviate the boredom - now I don't have any spare time...

I bought it as well 1st time since FM12 only problem is it's conflicting with my Norton and so far can't get it working. Had to resort to loading it on my Mrs laptop which she tends to use at night. Means I still don't get on it

When does the Premiership season start restart.
La Liga is obviously earlier as we are better. Sorry that is just my terrible attempt at humour .
I am sure that whilst you are playing FM you will be trying to beat us (Barca) at every chance. Why is it that every gamer does that? Why not pick on Real, Juve', Milan or Liverpool?
On a side note; well done on retaining your Premiership status this season. You did look like certainties to go down. I could not understand why you were below teams such as QPR and Burnley as you were clearly far superior the previous season.
