Evening All. I don't think I had quite realised what an important match the Fulham game is. The fixtures for our mini league for 25.2.12: QPR v Fulham Chelsea v Bolton Newcastle v Wolves Wigan v Villa Man City v Blackburn We are the only team to be favoured by the bookies to win. So, if your bottle is half full, there is a distinct chance to gain useful points. If your bottle is half empty, (yet) another loss is likely to see us no worse off than we are now. We cannot leap Villa but we can hopefully find ourselves 3 points and a better goal difference clear of 18th place.
Whilst I would expect us to beat Fulham I think Wigan might upset Villa and Bolton might get something at Chelsea. We're all desperate and that means some games are not as simple as you might think...
A good point RTID...as always though, just a win would be nice. I think for the rest of the season we need to be aware of the other teams around us but we can't hang on their every result. It is the QPR results that matter...as many wins as possible. Sound obvious...but all to easy to get pre-occupied with what other teams are doing. It would be lovely to be three points clear though.
Super, I can see Villa:Wigan being tight but not Chelsea. Of course, the bookies are not always right but they are right more often than not.
Chelsea were dire on Saturday and Arse Boils decision-making seems odd to say the least, perhaps Roman is now picking the team? I'm just enjoying their misfortune as an antidote to ours...
Hi Dave Mate, cheers for that and more points well made. The runner who looks at his rivals can lose an edge (Chariots of Fire etc) so better to focus on us winning! COYRssssssssssss!
If Hughes and the players cant get up for this match, and come out the blocks like they did to us in October - something is seriously wrong
Can see Wigan doing vanilla otherwise destin is in our hands to get revenge on fulham and we can all take the bus home happy
