So the fixture list for the 2018-19 season has been published, with Pompey starting the campaign with a home match against promoted Luton Town.

Pompey’s final pre-season friendly of the summer will see them welcome Dutch top-flight outfit FC Utrecht to Fratton Park.

Kenny Jackett’s side will complete their preparations for the 2018/19 campaign on Saturday, July 28 (1pm kick-off).

Utrecht finished fifth in the Eredivisie last term to reach the play-offs for a Europa League spot, but were beaten by Vitesse in the final.

New Pompey shirt for the coming season. New kit provider in Nike, and new shirt sponsor in University of Portsmouth.

Pompey’s season ticket sales have crashed through the 13,000 barrier during a remarkable end to the month. Almost two weeks ago the tally had reached 7,000, with Mark Catlin anticipating a drop from last season’s figure of 14,594. However, sales have rocketed since, coinciding with the Early Bird offer nearing closure and end-of-month pay days for many supporters. Pompey today announced 13,000 have now be sold, while the Early Bird has been extended to 11.59pm Sunday.

You seem to have signed quite a few players, already. You are our last home game of the season. Realistically, where do you expect to finish?

I've voted top half, by the way. I believe that covers all 3 of the first listed outcomes <cheers>

Hopefully in the top six, CBD <ok>

It was a tough first season in this division, to be honest, what with a new manager and a host of new players, but I believe we did really well to finish seventh.
We have to kick on this season, and I'm delighted with the signings so far. A couple more, and we should have a good squad.
