Looks like we will be at home for boxing day and new years day as the mackems are away those 2 days. Just looking at their fixtures, if they have managed more than 10 points after 15 games I will be amazed. Looks like we may be passing each other come the end of the season.!! Wummery started!!!
Course you didn't!! It was agreed that as we now had Rafa and it was World wise big news that our fixtures would be held back for a week to build up the expectation and excitement rather than release them with the rest of the dross. Obvious really.
our first fixture will be away as sunderlands 1st fixture is at home, I doubt we will start with 2 home fixtures! I'd love an easy start, but if we get Burton away as our first fixture, it will really cement our position in the lower league
Aren't there usually a couple of Championship fixtures before the Prem starts, normally including a midweek game?
Its usually done Home/Away/home/away as best as possible. If Sunderland are Away on the 1st game, We should be at home on the second. So using that logic, we are likely to be away first game
We have 6 out of 7 good/winnable home games though, the Boro up first hehe. We will struggle away though, frigging Man c and Gladiola to start with !
The 2nd week of the Championship fixtures, fall on the first weekend of Premiership fixtures. Which is when you will be at home, so first game of the season you will be away.
Does the Fizzy Pop have a start on weekend and then midweek game and then another game the following weekend and then 4 weeks off for internationals like the PL? In which case that might mean we could be doing something on the PL's first weekend.
