Anybody else a bit tired of managers complaining about having too many fixtures at this time of year and demanding a winter break! For the supporters its an excellent time of year and gives us great entertainment, which is the most important thing, surely?!

It's certainly tough on the smaller clubs with less, shall we say, "talented" squads, especially as injuries kick in this time of the season.

Imagine all the lower league clubs, having to do the same, and running a club on a pittance as the big clubs are creaming it all in.

I see their point 1000% but as an Englishman growing up with the festive fixtures, I wouldn't change it for the world.

Christian Benteke has been ruled out of Aston Villa's Christmas and New Year fixtures.

The striker has been struggling with a knee problem and did not play in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Stoke City.

Sky Sports News now understands Benteke could also miss the next three games, against Crystal Palace, Swansea and Sunderland.
