But on the flip side a stern test at home bradord will pack out our away end too where as if we played em in nov it wouldnt even be half full
The miserable pessimist in me forecasts "nil points" by the end of August. A newly promoted team at home, Coventry, MK Dons and the dreaded Gillingham away and bloody Wolves who seem to have to jinx on us whenever or wherever we play them.
We wont have 0 points come the end of August. Looking at it I reckon about 8/9 September looks like a very kind month for us. 3 home games against teams which on paper we should easily beat and a tough fixture at Swindon away. Could easily take maximum points from that month Cant wait for the season to start now
Where on earth will your 8 or 9 come from? This group of games is about the toughest it could have been, so apart from Coventry away, where will we get anything?
Bit **** some of these. Another London game on new years day will carve the support in half. Peterbrough has been a big sip for lads again mid week. Cracking start to the season though worth an early start and breakfast.
4 pts i reckon we will have a few draws and a win at coventry, the bradford game will be 1-1 with bradford coming at us early on. Be interesting to see if we get a few games out of adomah before he goes
The first 8 games will be a fairly tough start: Home - Bradford (just promoted), Wolves (favourites), Shrewsbury, Peterborough (will be up there) Away - Coventry, MK Dons (always in the mix), Gills (again just promoted), Swindon (derby game)
Until we know the shape and personel in our team trying to guess how many points we might have in any month is 'POINTLESS' we could lose another 4-6 players yet and who we get to replace them is moot can we wait a little while before deciding if we are going to get Nil or Maximum points in any given month until we have a little more idea of the team that is going to set foot on the Ashton Gate pitch for our first game.
