i dont know if anyone agrees with me or not but in my opinion hall is a championship player at best, why he gets in to our team i will never know he is rubbish, sambas goal for blackburn ,where was he nowhere to be exact surely clint hill would have been a better option but we let him go to forest, lets face it he is useless at defending a real liability for us its not his fault hes just out of his league in the premiership

Can't really argue with any of that. The goal was Derry's fault too, as he came rushing off the post like an U11 player. Summed up his game yesterday...very poor.

I never thought Hall was good enough for our Championship team. NW seems to be the only one with faith in him

Let's be honest samba is a beast , but hall can match him in height, sadly his headering ability for such a big lad is overwhelmingly bad

Fitz Hall is like a very bad version of Zesh Rehman.

FFS. Cheer up the lot of you. This is the team weve got, were 11th in the table and lets try and give the players support as oppose to knocking them and analysing and critisizing every mistake they make. Perhaps we should let bowlesnumber10 take over from NW as manager for his helpful constructive comments.

Hmmm. Yeah he was poor yesterday and had a shocker against Fulham but so did everyone else and he was carrying an injury.

I felt he did well against Bolton, Everton, Villa and didnt see him against Wigan but heard he was fine.

From the six matches I've seen him in he's done fine in 4 had one shocker (yesterday) and you cant say anything about Fulham. Everyone was terrible.

Yeah he's not great but he's a lot better than all the stick he gets on here.

lets face it, a team with hall, derry and even mackie is going to struggle in the prem as much as i like paddy kenny hes like dracula and doesnt like crosses!!!
we need to go 4-4-2 as quick as possible in my opinion

Whatever anyone thinks of him, thank God he won't be playing against Samba every week. That man mountain must have won every header going. HH really had his work cut out for him, but I thought Warnock got it right when he got SWP up against him, but for some reason we still put the ball in the air!!!!!!

Very out-dated system that. We'd get very out-numbered in midfield and, out of interest, what would your team be and where would you play Taarabt in a 4-4-2?

Derry has been MOM in atleast 3 games this season imo, Mackie has started one game and is still untested at this level!

True, but Derry was awful yesterday mate. Really off the pace and left Ali too much to do!!

Agree no need to knock individuals apart from Barton who frankly is only as good as his ego and a cancer to a side spirit it seems . Derry outstanding pure and simple ... What a level this man is playing at now ... Mackie is premier league stuff that is clear he has the skill and desire to make it
Fitz hall well come on he is trying
I repeat there is something very very wrong at the moment and that comes from me who always sees a glass half full

Lets hope it's one bad game, i've been realy surprised/impressed with Derry's performances so far.

Agree with Scotland, Onesize ain't brilliant, but he's not that bad either. He and Derry were badly at fault for the goal, and he should have scored near the end, but he made some tackles that saved us yesterday. But, hope Gabbidon is back for Chelsea! I think Derry has been good this season, as last, but he had a bad one yesterday.

OneSize was stuggling against Samba at set peices and I really couldn't understand why they didn't swap to Anton picking him up, to see if he had more luck. Some on the in game tactial changes seem to puzzle me or rather why they aren't made puzzles me.

Notice SWP in the box for set peices, surely he should round the edge of the box for crossing back in and shots from clearences, allowing someone with more presence in the box.

I guess the reasoning was that Hall should have been tall enough to cope.

Completely agree about SWP. I thought it was a master stroke putting him up against Samba to nullify his size, until we still kept putting the ball in the air. SWP on Helguson’s shoulders maybe.
