I have been Spurs fan since 1948 and this is the fittest all action side ever Only Ade showed signs of fatigue We are not far short of a team to.challenge maybe a 20 a year striker Loved the passing patterns COYS
Have you been on the source? Or is this late April fool ? Throw in a 20 goal striker , Christmas doesn't happen at Spurs.
If we had a 20 a year striker we only sell him at the earliest opportunity anyway. Defence worries me more than attack. Even if they are fit it doesn't hide the fact we can't defend.
Vertonghen at his best is a good defender and we did buy Fazio so let's wait and see before we decide.
Defences do not become solid or exceptional until they have time to know each other with clarity including each other's weak points Midfield and attacker can make mistakes can experiment and still be considered top players We have skilled players in each position at the back now as to if we have a top defence will only be clear when given a few more games Each of our defenders would be a good or top player in many teams but judgement is out for a few more games
You've only had two testing games so far, & failed in them both, so MoPo's plan B is still very active.......fit or not.
I really enjoyed watching the team moment to moment. I wanted Pochettino to come here because I thought the style he played really suited a club with a long history of attractive, attacking football. So far it's worked out very well. To disagree somewhat, while every team would like a Di Maria, Adebayor has played well this year. His biggest problem the last two games has been a refusal to go down when blatantly fouled in the box. He should have been awarded pens this week and last week. I'm still glad he doesn't dive.
If you have very good players they need to play together a lot. Today, apart from our keeper,we really don't know who will be starting games......for instance :- Rose,Davies. What's going on there.I thought Rose was to be permanently replaced by Davies, but there he is in the team and picked for the English squad.
