Does anyone know how long their contracts are? Desperate to see both leave in the summer but have a horrible feeling Frampton got 2 years and Fish got 3! Watching the Burton highlights again just highlights how utterly shocking these two are, would of been so much happier with Gowling and Sinclair rather than these two jokers!

I am not sure but I think both these players have the 2012/13 season remaining on contract.

I think joker is a bit unkind on Framps, what do you think he has specifically done wrong in defence to say that?

brb Frampton's early season promise has failed to deliver ( along with a lot of others .) He has been part of a defence that has been, at times, spectacularly poor. It had to be changed for reasons other than tactics - and the replacements fared better - but again appear to be overlooked. I cannot believe that Hess would prefer Frampton instead of King - who has shown that he has not lost any of his quality - and who can distribute the ball with some purpose ( rather than the hoofball style of Richards .) I'm not saying Frampton is a bad player- because he looked really good at the start of the season - but King is better, and therefore deserves to be ahead of Frampton. Frampton is supposed to be captain - but has shown little leadership qualities when times have been rough-then again the whole team has been too quiet on those occasions. I think King's style (as well as his quality) has had a positive effect on Essam and Evans - I think he makes a better leader than most.
I have said a lot about Fish on previous threads. - sorry Matt, you're probably a nicer bloke than me, but sadly you are only an average L2 defender ( on your good day )
Has the Club purchased players like Fish because they were cheap and hoping that they 'would do'? Whose fault is that ? ( not Matt Fish ) Has team selection and tactics been wrong on too many occasions ? ( not Matt Fish's fault !)
The Club's on pitch difficulties probably start from financial restraints resulting in the the purchase of quantity rather than quality. We then struggle to make a silk purse out of etc. - but even with the quantity that we've had this season, the individual quality is there somewhere, but has not been evident enough THAT is as much the managers responsibilty as the players - and when, at times, some team selections are so obviously wrong ( in lieu of available alternatives ), you have to wonder at the capability of the man in charge.
( ps we all love you Hess )

alwaysright - generally I am agreeing with much of what you are saying, especially in regards to King, Evans, Essam, first team choices for me.

During the season opinions change based on what we witness on the pitch. However, at no point and people are welcome to trawl my comments, would I ever class Framps as a joker, quite the opposite.

The only complaint I have ever had of Framps is that he never got that boy Rooney and stuck him on a coat hook.

Andy Frampton has my respect albeit he does not fit in the current picture but he would still earn a position on my bench.

As for Matt Fish, already been there and said what needs to be said, in short, not for me thank you.

I have already berated Fish a lot on here, yet some people still rate him, hopefully they've managed to see the goal in the week by now!! He is nowehere near the level we need at this club, however I definitely wouldn't prefer Sinclair, he was just as poor. I'd have Stevie Wonder at right back over the pair of them though!

In regards to Framps he has majorly dissapointed me as the season has gone on, I remember saying after the Cheltenham game at the start of the season that although we don't look creative, with this defence we're unlikely to ship a lot of goals, wow was i wrong! That has to be in large part down to Framps as the captain and therefore leader of the defence, for 1 the amount of injuries he has had has annoyed me, and I seem to remember Swindon fans saying the same of him last season. I do however think he can be better, so would not get rid, a new manager could change everything and that is what we desperately need right now.

It is easy to look at the back four and criticise and while they have been at fault on occasions they have been left isolated due to tactical issues in midfield with no midfielder taking any defensive duties bar Payne.

As for the kids, yes they show promise but they can't be rushed through and throwing them in at the deep end (especially into a side playing so poorly) could be detrimental to their development
