Elmo had a great start to last season and he brings pace, energy and crossing to our team.

I hope fans dont forget this has been his first season in the Premier League and we continue to support him, hopefully next season could be a big season for Elmo.

I rate him as an excellent prospect who has a lot to learn. Delighted to have him signed up.

Lots of potential but needs to perform a lot more consistently to win over many. He wont have cost a fortune and although I don't feel he is that good now, perhaps he will improve this season. Was it £2m?

Undisclosed mate but it looks like it was two million along with the £500,000 we paid to take him on loan makes him a bargain in my eyes. De-****ing-lighted.

elmo looked a cracking player in the first few months. constantley running at, and often beating, the full back, it was just his crossing let him down badly. Then his form dipped and he seemed to lose the confidence to take the man on and with his crossing still wayward he looked abit crap. If he can regain his form of the first few months of last season and improve his crossing then he could turn out to be an excellent player.

i'll always remember the home game against man city, 0-0 93rd minutre and elmo got the ball in our half and skinned gareth barry (ok, not hard to do) and then their left back and put in a beauty of cross in to win the penalty!

He is cheap, young, and a lot better than some of the so called pros we have had at the SOL, I see room for improvement, and believe he can take that step up. time will tell, and on the money side, we would recoup that, when you cosider todays barmy prices.
