I was wondering why our hun brethren were in beel overdrive today.

It seems there's a rumour going around today that there's a humungous chance that the rangers will be in administration by the end of the season. Charlie wasn't anticipating being in the bottom division for 2 seasons in a row apparently - <laugh>

And who said there wasn't a God?

I'm sure the 20p difference in prize money and TV rights between Divs 2 and 3 were a huge factor in Charlie's financial planning.

Increase in sponsorship and ticket prices wouldn't matter one jot.

    Nope.

    Don't shoot the messenger <ok>

Again, how significant a difference do you suppose that would be?

    No.

Don't say you weren't warned, like last time.

I'll bump this when it happens and you'll all be saying, '**** sake, if only we had believed her, we could have saved our new club and not start over AGAIN'.

Maybe if you did your own homework before posting, you wouldn't make a tit of yourself on such a regular basis.

Is the 20% ST price increase still going ahead, a fifth more to watch the same teams you've played this year?

Saying that, it won't affect you personally.

Or anyone else who posts on this board.

    Loving the petty insults btw.

    Keep 'em up <cheers>

Ally McCoist is adamant that fast-tracking Rangers up the Scottish Leagues would help out clubs struggling with financial problems.

The Ibrox club are close to wrapping up the Third Division title, but under the current 12-12-18 proposals for restructuring they would remain in the bottom tier of Scottish League football, and McCoist warned it would not be a good move.

"Scottish football is in a sorry state right now so we have to do what's best for the benefit of the game," McCoist said.

"Dunfermline are clearly in trouble just now, Hearts have troubles too and we have obviously had our well-documented problems so we must do something that is mutually beneficial to Scottish football.

"If moving us into the second 12 means that there will be such a benefit then surely it has to happen."

Stranraer were elevated to the second tier in the 1993/94 season as third-tier champions when the league were expanded to four divisions, and McCoist added: "I really feel that the precedent set by the Stranraer situation in 1994 should be followed.

"If 12-12-18 is implemented and we are in the 18 then I don't see us getting promotion. I don't think that is fair - especially when a precedent has been set."

But Stranraer vice-chairman Iain Dougan insisted: "We don't feel it is the same situation as in 1993/94. We were expanding the leagues from three to four divisions, this time we're slimming the leagues. It is not the same."

Well done. You've earned yourself an official mindyfail card with this heap of bollocks. You managed to be wrong on every point you raised.

Clearly if there's 18 teams in our league next season we won't be playing the same teams we played this season. There'll be 8 new ones in there.

Next, you're mistaking this board for the Celtic board. The majority here, myself included, go to at least a few games a season. While I can't justify a season ticket, the price of a regular ticket will go up broadly in line with STs, so a price rise in STs will affect me personally and many others on this board.

Finally, the sort of sad individual who spends their day serially neg repping opposition fans doesn't get to call anyone petty. Are there any Rangers fans here that you haven't neg repped this week?

Away and have a lie down. Couldn't give a **** if you do or don't go to games.

You must be beelin', discussing being neg repped.

    It's the rules!!

    <laugh> <party>

So you won't be playing the same teams next season?

Which league are they going into then <whistle>
