(6) Isambard Kingdom Brunel built many things including 3 ships This is a multi part question (a) the easy one, What were the names of the ships (b) The first ship was different from the other two in what major way (c) What were the 'drive' options of the 3 ships, Clue they were all slightly different.
I tried to make the quiz general and most of these questions relate to what I learned in school God that seems so long ago now.

Probably the date Cabot left Bristol for the Americas ( or the date he arrived). 5. 1373 was the date Bristol was given a Royal Charter, because we supplied a lot of soldiers at Agincourt. Think Bristol was given county status at that time as well. Remember celebrating the 600 anniversary in 1973. Can't help with others without research and the lawn needs cutting now!

OK here are the answers 1) Jantzen Derreck to PSG France 2) 7 3) John Cabot discovered Newfoundland and thus North America 4) Crecy Aug 26th 1346 and Agincourt Oct 25th 1415 connections both against the French where the English and Welsh bowmen decimated the French Nobility and both in the hundred years war. 5)1155 Bristol gets Royal Charter as a City 1373 Is made a county because the merchants in Bristol gave the King a great deal of money to help him finance his ongoing war with France. 6)a) Great Western, Great Britain, Great Eastern - (b)Great Western had a wooden Hull strengthened with Iron bulwarks the other two hulls built of iron (c)Great Western Steam driven Paddles and Sail - Great Britain Steam driven Screw was converted to sail much later in 1881, Great Eastern Sail, Steam driven Screw and Paddles.
