25 years old by the looks of it. Never played at a high level. Not even sure it makes sense in terms of marketing. Doubt North Korea is a market anyone is desperate to crack into.
Me either!! Although they have an olympic team but I believe they need to be chaperoned and led back to their plane going home!!
Blimey! If we do get him then I expect that our existing players will have to pull their socks up cos their leader might then take an interest in Sunderland. Any sort of failure then they may risk getting shot!

Yong-Jik, 25, a Japanese born Korean, currently plays for V-Varen Nagasaki where he has featured since 2015. He has won caps for the North Korean international team. Having watched him play, Sunderland Scouts who visited Japan were rumoured to be impressed by his performances and presented him to the Wearside club.
If you are born in Japan...why the **** would have anything to do with North Korea? Bizarre doesn't even cover this one
I watch a lot of North Korean football and this lad is the real deal. He's completely three footed, can play anywhere on the pitch from keeper to ball boy, he even once got two red cards in the same game he's that good.
