We've all got our favourites (read some of the recent threads on the other sites!), and we all see different strengths and weaknesses in different players. Some, like Matty Taylor, really divide opinion.

There would be, probably, huge variations in opinion as to who should be the first name on the teamsheet.

So who would be your first 4 on the teamsheet. I know that whether there is back-up for a position, eg LB,
could influence selection, but I've ignored that and just gone for the 4 I'd stick down straight away.

    - Tom Lockyer - Mr. Reliable. Is seldom MoM, but always, for me, top three. Great attitude

    - Stuart Sinclair - Duracell Bunny. In many ways like Stuart Campbell, with more attacking licence.

    - Daniel Leadbitter - Gives total commitment and something we have lacked - pace. Getting better and better.

    - Chris Lines - possibly a contentious one, but he's got that extra something which can turn a game if he's at
his best. His set-pieces often cause problems.

    Well ?............................

Tom Lockyer for me. He is beginning to look as though he will be a real quality player. I will be surprised if he is still with us at the end of the season. The big boys must be watching him by now.

I would always have Stuart Sinclair in my team, just simply for the effort. His distribution improves all the time. I just wish he would release the ball a bit quicker sometimes and get that pass through the defensive line for our lads to run onto in the space behind the line. Our forwards are constantly receiving balls with back to goal and a defender up their shirt.

Daniel Leadbitter. He didn't have his best game against Notts County. But I agree with 49er.

Lee Brown's inclusion speaks for itself. Consistent and loyal to the Club.

This is very hard p49. DC has got a couple of formations that make certain players stand out more. For example, Billy Bodin would be 1 of my main choices but not in a 352 formation. So I will pick 2 lots of 4 covering both formations - 352 and 442.

    352:
Daniel Leadbitter - most improved player. Similar to Smith who started slow with us but then came alive.
James Clarke - signing of the season so far for us. Not done much wrong.
Tom Lockyer - committed to Rovers and rarly puts a foot wrong.
Stuart Sinclair - commitment is perfect and will never give up. Very humbled attitude.

    442:
Lee Brown - suits the full back role over the wing back role.
Billy Bodin - when given the chance, he's proved himself to DC. Our most creative player my opinion.
Daniel Leadbitter - same reason as already stated.
Stuart Sinclair - workhorse. Same reason as already stated.

I would do the spine 1st and map it out from there.

Maybe we might be better without Sinclair... for me Ollie Clarke gets a pretty raw deal.

Lee Nicholls generally reliable very vocal
    Tom Lockyer reliable consistant
James Clarke best signing in the Summer
Lee Brown reliable consistent good worker for team
Dan Leadbitter adds pace plus comments for Brown
Lee Mansell seems to make side tick
Ollie Clarke or Stuart Sinclair both play their hearts out never give up

Agree with all of the above...there are quite a few "first names" on the team sheet...

Very interesting to note that the strikers don't get much of a mention

I think the side that finished the game on Friday may be our best starting line up.
