Never mind the fact he lost most of the squad in the summer, that he's trying to motivate players that haven't been paid for getting on a year now, and all the rest of it.

    Worst part by far though:
    Contrast:
(Incidentally, rumour has it Ridsdale is on something like £20k a week.)

Yes, Reid managed Sunderland for 7 years and is hardly the greatest manager in the world. But he did not deserve this, and Plymouth certainly didn't.

I know it ain't NUFC related, but I think we have earned the right to sympathise with examples of poor ownership, and Plymouth exemplify poor ownership of a good fanbase.

Hopefully they'll get Martin O'Neill in now <whistle>

Seriously though, i hope things start to look up for Plymouth soon! No club and it's fans deserves what they've gone through in recent years!

Ridsdale on 20k a week and the players not getting paid with the club facing potential receivership, says it all absolutely sinks. Have sympathy for Reid, the players (the less well off ones certainly) and of course most importantly the loyal and true football supporting Plymouth fans who were the best I saw in the Championship and Premier League.

Looks like Reid has got the short end of the straw while the person that should be going ( Ridsdale ) hangs on.

When I first saw Reid was gone, I assumed he'd finally had enough and left.....but Ridsdale actually sacked him!! What a joke this man is.

I personally hate Leeds so I actually quite enjoyed him destroying that club, but i still appreciate a c*nt when I see one. Why is he in football??!!!

I have no idea. Ridsdale should be never allowed to be in control of a club after the amount of problems hes caused
