It´s a start, and much better I´d say
Than we all saw a week ago,
And with a wee bit more luck from the play
We´d have had all three points to show

The pen seemed a bit harsh to me
But apparently it is our lot,
    To give them away regularly
At the start of each Premier League plot

And the fact that Zamora encroached
After Ruddy had pulled off the save,
As Hughton and others have broached
Is tough on old Ruddy the brave

But this does give much hope ahead
The new boys both walked pretty tall,
And one old boy too, must be said
Did his chances no harm at all

    Barnett, who many dismiss
As surplus to our needs this year,
Seemed solid and hardly did miss
Balls on the ground or in the air

    And Snoddy and Pilkington too
Showed more of what we can expect,
Them week in and week out, to do
Causing havoc with balls they collect

And Holty takes time as we know
To get into his scoring stride,
So when he does just watch him go
He´s still a big part of the side

But great to see Jackson today
Both scoring and such a live-wire,
It should give us hope that our play
Will before very long be on fire

And although only two games tonight
Have gone, we´re now out of ´the three´,
It means nowt I know, but the sight
Still makes me feel more than happy. OTBC

    Enjoy your week all,

    Yours

Good work as usual RBF, I'll be happy providing we give a good account of ourselves!

Some think this is a good time to play Spurs, I don't, they have quality players who have been mis-firing, and our win at WHL last term is still quite fresh in their memory, if things go our way, we CAN do them again, but it's not a given!

Morning fellas, I´d happily settle for a point at Spurs, but I´d just be delighted not to give away a blasted penalty. ;)
