Blue Square have already priced up the first weekends premier games and have made us a dismissive 16/1 to win and 11/2 to get a draw at City. I know they are Champions but that's a ruddy insult! No team is unbeatable as last season showed. What do you think is it insulting or just realistic?
Considering we started the season so well last year due to NA fitness program and the fatigue of the city players from the euros I reckon it may be worth a few quid
Seeing as the game will probably be the early kickoff, they're probably very fair odds if we kick off at 2
The draw might be good value, but Swansea did go there last season and came away with tails between legs after a 4-0 tonking.
I'd say that's about fair. Blackpool were 25/1 to beat Chelsea a couple of years ago (around September time), the biggest ever odds for a PL team to win a game. (That record may have been surpassed since). And whilst I think we're better than that Blackpool team, I think City are probably better than that Chelsea team.
