So, will the present team/squad/manager oudo that of two years ago?
we were very unlucky in 09-10 that while the team was good enough to go up there was also Leeds, Norwich and Millwall who all went up and stayed up, then last season Southampton, Brighton and Peterborough all went up and are likely to stay up as well which just shows how tough the league was 2 seasons ago along with decent sides like Huddersfield who have also stayed down with us I think the 11-12 class has the potential to be as strong as if not stronger than the class of 09-10 but we will need the new signings to do what they have done for there previous clubs. If anything this 11-12 team is also like a League One Dream Team having cherry picked the better talent from the league. On paper we should be in for automatic promotion this season but the game's not played on paper and we've seen many a recent Charlton team beat teams on paper but not on the pitch
I would have the Dailly of two years ago. Bailey would be be a no-brainer. Burton and BWP would be a class pairing up front. Shelvey without a doubt. That is it for me.
Things is, 8 of the 'new' team , i've never seen before, so doing any comparison is very hard. However, looking at the team of 2 years ago - it looks pretty good on paper, a team that went 5? straight wins- but underacheived - thanks Parky.
