First single bought, that I can remember was Spirit of the Radio by Rush. But judging on the year I bought the first Album I must of bought one way before that. My first single bought was Blockbuster by The Sweet, no idea first single bought with own earnings , first album wasn’t bought by me as such, I bought Bohemian Rhapsody, swapped it with my sister for A Night At The Opera, which in time I got back anyway, so now how both .
Yes, I got the album , which had the single on , plus obviously all the other tracks as well. She was working so could afford the album , I was still at school, I used to sneak into her room and borrow it anyway , I think she saw it as a way of keeping me out of her room. It didn’t work anyway as her record player at the time was far superior to mine .
