So...quite a few new players and some dead wood cleared out...whats everyone's first 11 looking like at the moment? For what it's worth, I woud like to start with the following; Green Fabio Ferdinand Nelson Onouha Adel Faurlin Diakite Mackie Cisse Zamora Getting tougher to pick these days
Yeah...was the 11 Id "like"...if someone else doesnt come in and Ali isnt back, guess it will be Shaun stepping into the breach once more!
same 11 for me , only thing is i would worry about getting over run , with wide players like that could end up 4-2-4. Good side on paper tho.
Based on that 11, we need a new Centre Back, Left Mid and Right Mid. Mackie is NOT a wide midfielder. I'd like to see him used as an impact striker and push for a starting place. I'm fed up of these 'hard working wingers'. It's all rubbish. I want to see a winger use a bit of skill to get to the by line with pace and put in a decent cross.
Only started using leg without one of those knee supports very recently afaik. Can't see him back before December but hope I'm wrong.
Green Fabio Onuoha Ferdinand Traore Mackie Diakite Faurlin Taarabt Cisse Zamora Bench: Cerny, Hill, Nelson, SWP, Derry, Bothroyd and Johnson I think Kenny, Young and Campbell will all leave so that's why they're not on the bench. Think we will sign another centre midfielder before the window closes as back-up. Just hope Faurlin will be fully fit!
Lucas of Liverpool did the same thing in December, and he's just looking 'to play some part' next season. The only people I would be confident of starting v Swansea are Green, Onuoha, Fabio, Diakite, Cisse and Zamora. We'll have to see what business we do over the next few weeks......In both directions
