Not looking good for rangers. Will there be a fire sale? Would Malky go in for any of their players? Can any of their players make the step up to championship level? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-17015966
There's got to be a few players they who could make it Lafferty might sold problem up front 6ft 4 and good with his head and foot! John fleck currently on loan at Blackpool is only 20 can play across midfield and up front! And there captain isn't bad either Steven Davis!! I think Naismith will still demand big wages and transfer fee but he's a good player too..
We've been far too close for comfort ourselves to have anything but sympathy for the respective fans. Having said that, let's not turn this into a wake. For their own reasons, both clubs have taken the route that we didn't. If it had been the other way around, there would have been plenty of posters on here saying the same thing about picking up good value players. It's the name of the game. Thank God the Malaysians came in for us, or we would have seen that for sure. Now who can we get with Malky's connections up there?
The reasons why and the predicament they are in is not caused by the players or fans, or is it? I'm posting this as the team will be sold off if they enter admin and have to sell. I sympathise with Gers fans, as I know a few, and their passion for their club is second to none. However, as stated above this is about players becoming available not the fact they are going into admin. The fact we, along with pompey, have been in or close to this situation is another debate.
Seems Rangers are going to use Administration to dodge the debts rather than try to pay them. Of course, I know stuff all about their situation Just get that impression from wording used. "I have taken the decision that the most practical way to safeguard the long-term future of the club is to go through a formal restructuring process." - that reads dodge the debts, doesn't it?
