WTF!!! Seems very extreme to me. http://soccer.nbcsports.com/2016/01...ines-points-deduction-for-transfer-dealings/?
That sort of thing happens all the time, you've done nothing wrong, you chose not to complete the deal, what's wrong with that? A nonsense story, you'll not even get a slap on the wrists for it.
There is no storey here, he failed to agree personal terms, so didn't sign a contract with us and now he's back at his club. If Lorient weren't happy with how long he was away for then they could of told him to go back to France.
They voluntarily left Kone out of the squad yesterday, I think that sort of hinders their 'application' although don't be surprised to see UEFA/FIFA make an example of you, they're desperate for a bit of power back!
According to the Lorient president, personal terms were agreed and the deal was done, then Kirchoff come in and Sunderland went back to Lorient with a lower offer for the player. Lorient rejected and the player went back to his club.
French football owners generally like to try and cause trouble mate, they're all the same. I'd be surprised if owt happens.
Sounds like a Yank site not knowing what they're talking about. Anything other than NBC reporting this?
Who gives a **** what he says when the player himself said just before it broke down there were terms to iron out? Kone acknowledged the hold up was terms, then it broke down. Can't see this going anywhere, especially not believing the word of president of the selling club who knew nowt about that stage of the transfer.
The Fail: The case has similarities to when West Ham pulled out of a deal for Diafra Sakho from Metz in August 2014. The French club lodged a complaint and West Ham revived the transfer. Loriant President: "Lamine called me to ask if he could return to Lorient and I told him 'with great pleasure'." How ****ing stupid is all this. Going nowhere. THE PLAYER PULLED OUT.
He wasnt happy with the clause saying he would have to take a wage cut if we got relegated, F*ck him, f*ck his club and f*ck the French,
An implication requires suggestion. Lamine called me to ask if he could return There's no implication there it's a clear cut reference to an event(A phone call)
It looks that way. Fact is he'll have only got the basic of the contract offer while he was in France. He was coming over to negotiate and have a medical by Lorient's own admission. We're hardly going to send him a finalised contract offer containing all the clauses when he was due over to negotiate it, that is just a waste of time. He didn't like the clauses, he pulled the plug. Transfer broken down, nothing to see here. Happens all the time.
