A massive contributory factor for many footballers playing potential is down to confidence..So in my opinion, the undoubted fact that Sunderland supporters have lost their mojo this season must surely be relevant to certain players not playing as well as we know they can, because the air of doom and gloom is all around from start to finish..

Johnson was actually half decent today, much improved. But of course you choose to ignore this...

Thought he did alright today personally and was doubled up or even tripled at times but no-one has the pace or ability to capitalize for most of that time.

Our massive and only problem is the fact we have 2 central midfielders playing at full back and both are hapless there; Titus is a disaster waiting to happen, Alfie is very raw and Larsson is just way off the pace in centre midfield.

We seriously need to invest in full backs with pace, Centre half with pace and above all a dominant centre midfield playmaker with pace.

In short we are slower than a room full of mentally challenged barcodes.

    WE NEED PACE MARTIN. EVERYWHERE.

I thought he put in a lot of good balls today.
A lot of balls came in from the right too.
I was more disappointed with our TWO forwards who were both conspicuous by their absence in the penalty area on a lot of occasions. Could this be down to our forwards are very similar in the way they play?
The last ten minutes when we were on top and only Fletcher was anywhere near the box had me fuming!
Ok we didn't lose but FFS whilst your on top make it count!

Disappointed in them both today mate.
Previously there would have been a good shout for nowt going into the box to attack,.
There was too many times their goalie was allowed to just collect the ball unchallenged.

I didn't see one decent delivery, or Johnson beat his man once. He got more of the ball because we were attacking for the majority of the game, but can someone tell me one positive thing he done with the ball? Just one?
