    I think we already stay within the £5m losses per season but that still seems rather high to me...... why can't they say losses of £1-2m or you lose 1pt for every £250,000 over that figure, if that means a team losses out on promotion or is relegated then so be it!

    The only way to control player wages is to force Clubs to negotiate with sense.

    It's a little bit of sanity IMO. It would certainly have made Richard Murray think twice before allowing pardew's (and Dowie's) spending spree which resulted in losses of about £30m a year for our last couple of years before the takeover.
