What are the Financial Constraints at Sunderland?? BBC have talked about the fact that he had to agree to the financial constraints and Ian Danter on talkshite has been going on about them as well - surely only Ellis Short knows what the financial constraints are? Will MoN be given money to spend?? BBC states that "One of the key aspects of the agreement is said to be O'Neill's agreement to the budgetary constraints at the Stadium of Light." Said to be by whom? the bloke who's been watching Sunderland for a couple of weeks? The Chairman?? Some random bloke who thinks they know what's going on?? Just a little pissed off that these so called "experts" appear to know everything about the background workings of our club when I believe they are simply spouting what they think to be right without any backing evidence!!!
Typical press bollocks Marcus - "a close friend said, blah, blah, blah" The vast majority of clubs are operating under some sort of financial restraint. My guess is that there will be discussion about aspirations and targets. Bruce had targets for each season, MoN will too. I suspect any money to be spent will be linked to these targets. There will be funds available in January to deal with the striker crisis.
I heard Ian Danter (an 'impartial' Brummie fan I believe, so no axe to grind with O Neill there then FFS) on Talk Sport this morning, with Mickey Quinn and he was embarrassing himself with every word. Basically he was saying nice bloke ****e manager to which MQ was ripping the piss out of him. Just ignore the fat Brummie ****er and concentrate on what MoN can do for us in the coming years.
Yeah, I agree. It's like when a tabloid tries to break it's neck to claim an exclusive, and when it goes tits-up, people then realise the story he was pushing was in fact, only one persons opinion.
