He has also implied that some of his players have big egos, note his comments on Boswinga! This is something a lot of us Norwich fans have expressed, particularly me, and finally someone within QPR has noticed! Whatever you think of Redknapp, these comments show he's not stupid or careless. It will be interesting what he does in the January transfer window. Hopefully, for QPR, he won't throw the players to the side like Hughes did with Green when he brought in Cesar, as well as Campbell and Bothroyd when he brought in Zamora and Cisse.
Unfortunately I have to agree. I'm all for a bit of banter but it seems there is at least one QPR thread started on this board on a weekly basis. Really not sure why.
I'm interested in football and QPR are making the stories. I only created this thread because someone has made these comments which we have been saying about QPR for the past two years!
It's fair to say this is a football forum, it's also fair to say QPR are a sort of football club! 'Arry is a high profile manager, so his comments are always going to be in the public domain!
Fair enough Wonky... Don't see why we shouldn't discuss one of the most outspoken comments by any manager this season. Given we came up with QPR and have approached the PL in polar opposite ways, it's not surprising several of us are following their progress and the chaos.
Agreed! Guess there would be more about Swansea p, but they're going round their business in a similar way to us and doing it quietly. Of the three QPR seem to be talked about in the media the most.
Could it be that your embarresed that Rednapp has finally come out and said what us Canaries and everyone else have been saying for ages!! Can be hard to admit that you were wrong sometimes. You now need to keep everything crossed that QPR dont end up exactly the same as another club Harry previously run. In league 1 fighting liquidation because they had a load of high earners and not the stadium capacity.
More likely he's just mildly bemused at the regularity of QPR threads on this board. You'd think you lot and Swansea would be too busy ****ing each other off to notice little old us down at the foot of the league.
It's a bit rich coming from 'Arry of all people don't you think? He can see the writing on the wall and is getting his excuses in early. Also, what Bosingwa is paid should be confidential and not revealed to the world by his manager irrespective of how the player has behaved. I don't have much respect for Rednapp and this latest example of his sound-bites for the fawning media lowers my opinion further.
I've explained my reasons for posting this thread so I don't know why some of you are going along with this 'obsession' thing, it was on the BBC sport website, it's interesting and this is a football forum, deal with it!
If I'm being honest, you might want to have a look at the meaning of interesting. My point is, if it was Martin O'Neill or Brian McDermott who said it, I highly doubt anything would of been posted. Because it was the QPR manager, it gets posted.
I didn't see and to be honest with you I don't need people to explain themselves to me. Post what you like mate, I'm just giving my opinion on what it seems like and if anyone doesn't like that then I really don't give a flying ****.
