    I found this after Googling some words associated with the rep system. It is used by many forums including TalkTalk who have explained everything!...

    So now we know what all the green/red things are all about!

    Call me a daft twat, but I just don't get it. I don't really get why it's important. Apparently I have "Latest Reputation Received (12 point(s) total)" and a "Rep Power" of 1. What does that mean?

    Although..

    - EDGE has the 'infamous around these parts' and has less than -250 rep.
    - I feel I've given more than 5 rep out in one day before before
    - I feel I have given it to more than 5 people on here since someone else, and still told to spread it.

    Maybe the system we have has been slightly tweaked or something. But nevertheless, very useful information. <applause>

    Apart from that it's pretty much spot on, I knew other websites used the same system.

    In AP's original post, it says that once a user hits -250 rep, he gets the 'infamous around these parts'.

    But EDGE has -100 rep, and has the 'infamous around these parts'. Therefore, if what the original post says is true, he shouldn't have that, he should have 'can only hope to improve'.

    1000 posts = +1 rep
    100 rep = +1 rep

    Think what we have is probably a slightly different version to this or something. Because we dont get 'pips' for every 500 points either, we get it for rep.

    Without looking like an idiot (in my defence, its 1:30) I think I may have been reading it differently.

    I'm going to assume between -250 rep and -50 rep is the infamous. So it is impossible for him to get more/less than -250 rep (for example, -251). Which is what I thought it was implying he needed to be infamous.

    Would be good if this forum implemented a flash games arcade. I've used a few forums in the past that did that and it has high score rankings lists for each game and you get amazingly important fancy flashing little trophy and cup pictures next to your name; pretty fun trying to beat people you talk to rather than just messing with random games online.
