....and what happens, we win. Will Hughes start without both against Sunderland? I would like to think that he has seen the light....eventually!
The team seemed to be able to lift themselves wen he went off they expressed themselves and mackies off the ball work and runs were something we'll never see from Barton. Fair play to MH match winning decision.
I don't condone booing your own players, even if it is Barton, but do you think MH would have made the change without it? I'd like to think the penny has finally dropped re Barton but am not yet convinced. Let's see who starts on Saturday!!!
It certainly did get us to win that match and produce a great rise from 0-2. Then again Liverpool helped us to win with their amazingly poor defence. It just great they dont have Sami Hyypiä anymoore. Nevertheless great win and Hughes got real dilemma with Barton and SWP.
I don't think MH responded to boos. If he did then we are back to 4 year plan and outside influences picking the team! Who cares who starts Saturday as long as we win. What I can't stand is a load of dispicable boo boys claiming credit for it. The test will be when he plays again. Will he get booed or given a chance to perform and put things right. If its the former we have hit a new low!
This! Barton played terrible which surely is the only reason he got taken off. That he played so bad was probably due the stick he's been getting f*kking his confidence! I don't know why he was playing out there our on the right when Mackie and SWP are clearly better there. I think MH only kept him on as long as he did because he wanted to see if Derry would hold up in the middle for 90 minutes, which he did times 100!
