Just checked the betting odds for the final Premier League placings. The bookies have us five from the bottom and The Skunks eight from the top. I'm not a betting man so have no expertise on how these things work, so I guess it's because we have a new Chief Coach and have signed "unknowns" (even to most of us). I know it's early days and these things can change but what do other posters think?
I think that is a load of bollocks, with little considerartion of what is taking place up the road following last years dismal showing. We were worse, but they seem determined to sink further, yet they are expected to come on leaps and bounds? Pah!
Nobody knows what SAFC will do next year. Such drastic changes could make a great team or it could go tits up. I hope it will be great but think it will be somewhere in the middle. But nobody has a clue at this point
Bookies make there odds by a bit of calculation and also on where the money is being placed. Basically shortening the odds where the money goes. They still have ridiculously short odds on us winning the league. After all they could offer a million to one and I would not be tempted to part with a pound on such folly.
