Happy New Year everyone I hope you all had a good Christmas watching the Chairboys climb up the table over the festive season and hoping the lads can maintain their good form against the Shrimps from the soggy north west who are next on the Chairboys menu at Adams Park. After coming off injured on Monday Captain Paul Hayes will be missing for this one so Holloway should start and Gary Thompson will be hoping to start against the team he started his career with making nearly 300 in 11 years but after scoring on Monday Kretzs will be hoping to keep his place, JJ, Blooms and Beany should return to the squad after injury. One way to deal with Shrimps is to remove their shells cover them in bread crumbs and then deep fry them, then dish them up with the rest of the festive party food, I will be missing again as having to work but I fully expect the lads to get stuck in and have no problem devouring the Shrimps and collecting another festive 3pts
Cheers Guy and Happy new Year to all. To be honest, I'm shattered. I'd like to share your optimism Guy but I think, with Hayes out and it being desperately important that we have no more injuries, some of the full blooded tackles that have kept us in games may not be so forthcoming with an eye on the Villa game. It's really thanks to Morecambe that we are in league 2 this year
It is two years since we won three home games on the trot in January & February 2013 another unwelcome record hopefully it will go tomorrow the same way as the Boxing Day one
I'll happily take a defeat for a fully fit squad for Jan 9th. The most important thing for me is no injuries. Any points on top of that is a bonus.
Line up: Ingram, McCarthy, Jacobson, Stewart, Pierre, Harriman, Wood, Bloomfield, O'Nien, Kretzschmar, Thompson #WYCvMOR
Looks like we're aiming to go in half time at 0-0 and pinch it with a substitution. I'd love to see Udumaga come on and score and show enough class to stake a claim for at least a substitution against Villa. Is this youngster pacey. Could do with a striker with pace to cause havoc in the opposition's defence
