The busiest period of the year has come to an end. 5 matches played. 2 wins, 2 losses and a draw. 7 points out of a possible 15. I think it was quite a successful period for us. Yes we are still in the bottom 3 and the football isn't pretty at times, but we have managed to pick up some important points against tough opposition with a patched up team. Have been quite impressed with the buy-in that Rubén Selles has managed to get from his players during the last few weeks. I feel we are close to putting a nice run of form together to drag us out of trouble. I'd give him a 7/10 for the Christmas period. What do you think?
Exactly that RG and the fact that Selles has had nothing but a couple of days here and there to work with them and medics knocking on his door saying 'bad news boss'....
Decent, and we'll improve towards the end of the season under Selles, win the key relegation battles and we'll stay up and prosper UTT.
The Not The Top 20 podcast today mentioned us also one of the clubs that had a good Christmas despite two defeats - the more obvious one being Oxford. I think they’ve called it right.
