The two players he is competing for a start with are both worth 20m, so what the **** are you talking about.
We paid £50m for Torres ad we're not playing him. You do realise that we'll probably play 55-60 games this season. I'm sure hell get the odd minute here or there!!
We signed Luis as the replacement fro Ashley Cole. Who sat on our bench last year because our defence were brilliant. Luis won't be handed a spot in our team because we just signed him, he will have to fight to earn it, Fabregas and Costa are only straight in as they both fill positions we never had the right player for last year.
Luis is obviously a much better player than he has shown so far with us. That's not unusual. Some newbies fire straight away, some need time to come up to speed. Jose will bring him along at the right pace and he will be in top form before you can say Fettucinni a l'Amatriciana.
I too had him in my fantasy team and was surprised he didn't play. If all five stay fit all season (unlikely i know) there will be a lot of rotation.
YES!! **** Jose. That fat ginger ****! So, honestly, is Luis only gonna be playing in the CL? Will he play next game? ****ing fantasy football charging 6m the robbing fat ****ers!
Luis was one of the top left backs in Europe last season but Mourinho trusts Azpilicueta who isnt as good as Luis but he is good enough.
Exactly, who knows why he was left out. He may not have trained well, may have taken a knock in training, or maybe Jose just thought he would sit him out and rest him for this weekend.....
We had the best defence in the league last season, there's absolutely no reason to disrupt that just yet! I expect Luis will play his first game at home.
A Brazilian used to playing in Spain. First game away to a newly promoted team on a Monday night is not the idea introduction. Jose played it safe and it paid off. We gave 3 debuts as it was and he probably wanted a settled back 4 at least.
I also think that against the more physical sides, he is likely to play Ivanovic at RB, due to his strength. The good thing is, we have options!
