Maguire, Soyuncu, Benkovic and Evans will be our centre halfs for years

 

Lets hope Maguires England hype has worn off by next summer.

 

Option to have in a back 3 with Maguire and Söyüncü next season although I guess Claude will stay back 4 which means we could have Maddison, Gray and Barnes in behind Vardy with Ricardo and Chilwell bombing forward. It’d be important to have pace in the centre of defence more so as well as one of the centre mids dropping in. It seems Söyüncü and Benny (no not that one ) have pace

I like other than just one CM. It’ll either be 4231 with one of the CB’s on the bench or 3421 with two of Barnes, Maddison and Gray. In a 4231 those 3 behind Vardy looks a great prospect!

 

Barnes is central though isn’t he rather than left?

 

I think he’s played all across so far for MK and Barnsley, more central for WBA. I think all 3 can play across the line so I’d see them as rotating and roaming. Could cause grief for defenders!

... would love to see him back with us in Jan - but might be best if he spend whole season on loan unless Puel is going to bite the bullet and make him a starter each game
